January 1, 2023 (Sunday), 4:30pm & 8pm
Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall
Overview
It has been 20 years since the Metropolitan
Youth Orchestra (MYO) embarked its music journey! On the first day of the year
2023, you are cordially invited to join us in our celebration concert and
relive the special moments of MYO over the last 2 decades. The concert
highlighted famous pieces such as “The Typewriter”, “Bugler’s Holiday” and “The
Syncopated Clock” by Leroy Anderson, Mozart’s “Marriage of Figaro”, Vivaldi’s
Four Violin Concerto. “Ode to MYO”, written by Elliot Leung, the first and only
composer to break through from Hong Kong to Hollywood and the alumni of MYO,
will be also featured in the concert. Join us in the music banquet, as we
treasure the past and toast for more thriving years to come.
